What makes Happy Tails Country Club different?

• We are a full-service, upscale, neighborhood doggie country club that offers doggie daycare; upscale, overnight lodging; obedience and behavior training, agility classes and agility practice, self-service dog wash and grooming.
• Dedication to a higher level of service, comfort, health and safety. There are lots of doggie daycares and boarding services to choose from today. You take a quick tour and get a basic idea of how clean the premises are, whether the dogs there that day are having fun (if you get to see them play), and whether the staff are friendly. These are important factors to consider when selecting a facility, but there are additional factors that affect your dog - even years later! We believe in going the extra mile to ensure a higher level of service, fun, health and safety. We offer:
  • Half-inch thick, rubber floors covering the entire doggie daycare area! Running and jumping on concrete floors can cause stress, strain and aches on your dog's joints and muscles. The effects of such harsh pounding may be seen today or years from now. Thick, rubber floors alleviate these potential problems for puppies, adolescents, adults and geriatric dogs alike.
  • Play areas for both high-energy and low-energy/shy/geriatric dogs. High-energy dogs aren't the only dogs that need high-quality daycare and boarding services. So, we offer both a fun, activities-based environment for high-energy dogs (i.e. play structures, games; huge, etc.) and a calm, relaxing environment in our Lazy Days Lounge - complete with comfy chairs, couches and TV!
  • Upscale, crate/kennel-free, luxury, boarding hotel. While many dogs are crate-trained when they're puppies, they don't use them once they're house trained. So, we eliminated the potential stress that boarding in a crate or kennel can cause. Our spacious, cozy suites feel more like home, featuring real walls, doors, comfy PetCots and luxury beds, along with soothing, classical or jazz music. 
  • New heating and cooling systems for climate control and proper ventilation. Better for your dog's comfort and health.
  • Self-service dog wash that includes all the bath fixin's. No need to make a mess in your own bathroom. We provide raised bathtubs, shampoo, towels and blow dryer. You just bring your dog!
  • Bath & nail trim service - we'll clean your dog for you. Nail trim also offered. (Full service grooming services scheduled for late 2007.)
• Experienced staff. Love for dogs is important; experience is critical. Collectively, our staff has lots of experience, such as: 
  • Reward-based behavior and basic training from the highly-respected Denver Dumb Friends League.
  • Certified and experienced veterinary technicians, that also serve as animal trainers and animal shelter animal care supervisors.
  • Decade of doggie daycare experience.
  • Current vet-techs in training.
  • Pet first aid certification through the American Red Cross.
  • Personal pet ownership experience.
